Our day began in the underground at Blackhawk and is ending in a bunker bed in Sutton, Alaska! Some of us started the day by running and others showed up with two cups of coffee in hand. However it started, its been a GOOD day full of safe travels.
Starbucks, card games, reading, snack runs, walks around the airport, naps on the plane, and much more filled the 18 hours we’ve spent awake traveling via one bus, two planes, and a few vans on our way to Eaglecrest!
We arrived at Eaglecrest around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning. We will enjoy a shorter night’s sleep and join the local community at church. Word around camp is we are going on a hike and seeing some beautiful Alaskan countryside in the afternoon. Campers arrive tomorrow from around the area, which we are both we anxiously and eagerly waiting to meet.
Thanks for your prayers and all your support!
