Alaska GO Team
Our main objective this summer is to help Eaglecrest build long-term relationships with local middle school & high school students. We will partner with Eaglecrest in running a Day Camp for local students. Likely activities include running daily Skill Clubs and games, participating in Life Skills sessions with local students, individual devotional times, nightly group worship gatherings, and opportunities to experience the Alaskan outdoors.
This is an opportunity for Blackhawk Middle School students to grow in their leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as an opportunity for significant personal spiritual growth and exploration.

Home!

Another Great Day at Day Camp
Each day we’ve been using the time before breakfast to reflect through a devotional created by Eaglecrest. It’s been a way to connect to God and teach us values related to leading. So far, we have reflected through reading selected verses and questions about leading...
Excursion Day: It was a Butte!
Wednesday is a day off at camp. We had the opportunity to spend some quality time as a group without the campers. Our morning was spent with the Eaglecrest team on a fantastic trail on the Butte. We drove South of Palmer, about 35 minutes from camp. The hike itself...
Tired Tuesday?
They call this day of camp “Tired Tuesday” we heard because it’s the day that the time difference and travel fatigue hit. Not so sure that was the case with our group. Students and leaders alike were ready for another day of fun with the 30 + campers ranging in age...
