We have arrived!

What a view!!!!

We have made it to Eaglecrest! After a very long day of traveling and our first experience with the midnight sun here in Alaska, we woke up to this amazing view! God sure is good to put us in a place like this!

  1. Hi from Madison Missions! God is on the move, here and there. Love y’all; happy to be here, but I wish I could be in two (or more) places.

Joke: why did the chicken cross the road? … to show the raccoon how it’s done. 👍🏽

  2. So excited to hear that you all made it safe! We have been praying for you all and are excited to hear about your adventures!!

-Brayden so sorry we got disconnected at the airport. Hope everything was smooth for your flight. We all miss you here and love you to the moon and back.

  3. Wow! Seriously fantastic view. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the week holds.

  4. Ah – such a nice view! Glad you made it – enjoyed reading all of the profiles of who is there in Sutton right now. Hope you have a good first day of camp today!

  5. Beautiful view of the mountain. Enjoy every minute!

  6. Thanks for the update! Was wondering when we would hear from you all. So glad you have arrived. Now for the fun to begin. Praying for you as a team to be the hands and feet of Jesus and make amazing connections serving the kids who are at camp and with each other.

Addie-dad has removed the phone restrictions for your return flight. Kind of funny that happened to you but maybe not so much? Apologies to your teammates as you might have been chattier than your normal self if you couldn’t use your phone for the bulk of the flight. Never crossed our mind so sorry.

Can’t wait to hear about the first day of camp.

  7. Great news! So glad you all arrived safely! We are excited for what this week ahead will bring and what God will do!!

Noah, it sure is quiet in this house without you singing all the time! 😉 But no worries, Mac howled a ton last night when his ball got stuck under the couch! We love you so much! Have an awesome week!

  8. Awesome! So excited for you all. Praying and looking forward to seeing more!

Joshua, we all miss you. Cody still goes to your room to sleep, for a little while.
Hope you have great time there!

  11. So glad you arrived safely, and woke to that beautiful view! Prayers that camp will start well and great connections will be made.

Samuel, please take a ton of pictures! I can’t wait to hear all about it. Thought of you multiple times during the concert last night, especially when Weird Al rolled out on the Segway. Uncle John enjoyed using your ticket! Love you tons!

  12. Yay! Glad you are there! We pray the transition is quick and you are able to jump right into camp today. Love how you are all bringing the good news of grace to those kids!

Mark, we thought of you as we celebrated Sam’s birthday with a mug of rootbeer from the Nitty Gritty and Culver’s for dessert. Have a fun week! 🙂

  13. So glad you arrived safely and can start your week off with such an awesome view! I am praying for a good first day of camp and that your faith is coming alive as a community!

Grace, you’ll be happy to know that we are planning to eat tacos several times this week and go out for Luigi’s next Sunday instead of the usual since you will be happy to miss that 🙂 also, we were all thinking of you at 6:30 this morning when your alarm clock went off! Love you!

  14. Breathtaking view! Glad to hear travel went well. Looks like the group is off to a great start! Jon, enjoy that midnight sun and all the other new adventures coming your way!

  15. So glad you made it safely! The view looks amazing (even though I don’t see any moose). Thanks for posting Lexie! Praying for you all!

  16. Hi Daddy and Malachi! Hope you guys are having a fun time in Alaska!! I miss you sooooo much! Ellie❤️

  17. Hi Jon! Wow, what an amazing location! Also, I read the profiles and it sounds like you are working with an amazing team as well. I’m confident that much good will be done on this trip. The food sounds pretty good too. Don’t be concerned if some things taste a little different than you’re used to. They may season things differently in Alaska. On the other hand, it might be that the cooks simply made a moose-take.

  18. Hi Mark,
SO beautiful 😍 . That picture will make a beautiful screen saver!

Glad you all had a good trip. Bet you all were extra tired too.
Hope all is well on the remainder of your adventure.
    See you soon .
