Hello blog reading friends!

I’m Emily (aka Dr. Princess Dora if you happen to be from the Middleton East girls home group) and I’m super excited to be one of the adult leaders on the Alaska team! This will be my fourth trip to Sutton which means I’ve been on this trip enough times to know that God has something different in store for each year and each team. I’m already really excited about this year’s team and I can’t wait to see how God will be at work in and through this team as we head up to Alaska.

One of the things I love most about this trip and our partnership with Eaglecrest is the opportunity to see our students loving and serving other students. I also love that being a leader on this trip gives me a front row seat to see students grow and experience God in ways they haven’t before. Seriously, it is SO cool. Please continue to pray for this team that the Holy Spirit would give us servant’s hearts that reflect Christ’s love and eyes that are able to see what God is doing in Sutton. 

Shout out to all of you for supporting this team so well. THANK YOU! This team and this trip really would not be possible without you! We are beyond grateful that you are loaning us your daughter/son/sibling/parent/spouse/friend. I promise we’ll take good care of them 🙂
