Hello!

My name is Gabrielle D., but you can call me Gabi. I am about to be a freshman at Mt. Horeb High School and my favorite subject is language arts. I enjoy reading, playing volleyball, hanging out with my friends, and playing the piano and cello. I am in the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra.

I applied for this trip after some friends in Revolution (a student leadership team at Blackhawk) and Kelsey told me about it. I decided to apply because I wanted to learn more and grow in my faith, but I also wanted to build relationship with other kids my age.

I cannot tell you how excited I am to be a part of this team and can’t believe that in under a week, I will be in Alaska! Lastly, thank you to all of the friends and family that supported me. I was amazed by the generosity and support I have received and can’t put into words how grateful I am. Please continue to pray for our team and our travels. I can’t wait to tell you about my experience!
