I read this quote in a book I was perusing last week about missions and I laughed out loud because we are traveling to a state that sees 19-20 hours of light per day this time of year. Despite the hours of sunlight in the summer, parts of Alaska – like any other place – battle deep darkness. 

If I have one prayer, it is that Sutton could experience the strength and abounding love that only true community can bring. I am looking forward to the relationships we will grow and strengthen in our time there….which starts in FIVE DAYS!!!
